This week eScience interns took science on the road! Eight interns went to Warren Village, a transitional housing program that helps low income single parents acquire the life skills to achieve self-sufficiency. While parents took night classes, eScience interns partnered with kids to extract DNA from bananas, have a rocket launching competition, test buoyancy by engineering their own boats, and even explore geology by observing crystallization processes. Only one question remains: Who had the most fun?
